Dear Sisters,
Eid was on Sunday 20 August 2012. Home is where mother and father are. The entire family and the kids - the grandchildren. Everything was the usual Eid. Happy, loud and plenty of contradicting food.
But what was not usual was how the kids spent their time. Glued to the screens of their mother's, father's, sister's smartphones, I-pads and Tablets. The kids at 3 to 10 years. Their thumbs and fingers dancing on the screens, games, after games, after games ...
The wonder being that these gadgets have come a long way, highest level of foolproof, that the owners were not worried if those little happy thumbs and fingers would harm their precious properties.
They are the Triple A generation kids with Triple A generation gadgets ... cool, and no fear.
Eid Mubarak
