It's been a long time ... let me continue with my review of Hadith 40 compiled by Imam Al-Nawawi rahimahuLLAH ...
Hadith No 22
Abu ‘Abdullah Jabir bin ‘Abdullah al-Ansari (ra) reported that a man questioned the Messenger of Allah (sas) saying:
"Do you see, if I pray the prescribed (prayers), fast during Ramadan, treat the lawful as permissible and treat the forbidden as prohibited, but do nothing more than that, shall I enter Paradise?" He (the Prophet(sas)) answered: "Yes."

ReplyDeleteAssalamulaikum Ros. Ameen Allahumma ameen. AlhamduLillah i was first taught the 40 Hadith compilation of Imam Nawawi RahimahuLLah in Brunei Darussalam. Our teacher was Almarhum Datin Ustazah Kamariah, wife of Almarhum then Mufti Brunei Darussalam. May Allah SWT redha with the both of them and station them among His Beloveds. Ameen Ya Rabbal 'Alameen.
