Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh
Alhamdulillah syukur ... for Friday of bless and barakah ... selawat dan salam ke atas Junjungan Rasul ... اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

but for some ... Friday is feared ... because on this day every week ... without fail they see the ummah gathering ... giving their souls to the Almighty ... and this is too much for some ...
and that is the reason why every Friday there is issue about Palestinians entering Masjid Al Aqsa for Juma'at Prayer ... so for today let us pray that peace prevails in the Haram Al Sharif ... Ameen.

if we could not perceive the difficulties faced by our Palestinian brethren in the Occupied Territory ... please read this piece ... just a piece of many such pieces written by many who have seen and felt the need to make it known to others ...

Under the 1940 agreement Jordan is the administrator of the Haram Al Sharif ... but now Israel wants full control ... more details here ...
Masjid Qubbat As Sakhrah (Dome of The Rock)
Masjid Al Aqsa (with the black dome south of Dome of the Rock)
... inside Masjid Al Aqsa (also referred to as Jami' Qibli) and the Dome of the Rock
inside Masjid Al Aqsa ...
Haram Al Sharif is the entire walled compound or courtyard of Masjid Al Aqsa and The Dome of the Rock ...
at 8:08 of the second video is the underground Masjid Marwan. It is just next to Masjid Al Aqsa. It used to be a stable after the Muslims were defeated by Christians hundreds of years ago ...
at 10:54 is the Buraq Wall - the western wall of Masjid Al Aqsa which the Jews refer to as the wailing wall ...
it is referred to as the Buraq Wall by Muslims because it was narrated that the Buraq that transported RasuluLLAh SAW was tied at the site on The Night Journey Isra' dan Mikraj ... on the night when the Prophet SAW was lifted to Heaven, the Buraq stayed back ... you may ask why the need to tie the Buraq ... it was not about securing ... rather it is just an indication that it needed to stay put while waiting for the Prophet SAW return.
Allahu'alam ... Allah SWT is Most Knowing ...

an anxious incident at the Buraq Wall during our ziarah resulted with us having a new nickname for a Sister ... Kakak Buraq ... The sister was on her own exploring the Buraq Wall from the Masjid side, when she was separated from our group ... when we were ready seated for lunch within the Old City ... we realised she was missing ... after a long while ... and anxious search by our Brother Palestine Guide ... Allah SWT brought her back to us ... AlhamduLiLLAH ... but it was a truly anxious longgg minutes for all of us ... because the walled city along with its narrow streets and structures is like a huge maze ...
so please always stay alert of your jema'ah (group) where ever we are ...

by the way we had that lunch ... at Buraq Restraurant ... a very uniquely built underground restaurant.
google image - not from the restaurant - but my favourite bread and spread.
AlhamduLILLAH ... for masyaAllah fresh and nutritious food served while we were there ...
but never forget the less fortunates who were also there ... especially when we were in Amman where Syrian Refugee Children were out in the shivering cold ... hungry ...
may Allah SWT ease the burden of those affected ... by war ... and occupation.
Aameen
