Ambuyat is a Bruneian (Jawi: امبويت) dish derived from the interior trunk of the sago palm. It is a starchy bland substance, similar to tapioca starch. The Ambuyat is also one of the famous delicacy for the indigenous people of Sabah and Sarawak.
Ambuyat is eaten with a bamboo fork called a chandas, by rolling the starch around the prongs and then dipping it into a sour fruit sauce.
There is a similar dish of eastern Indonesia called papeda.

    I dah lama tak mkn ambuyat..my mom sll buat masak kuning as the kuah utk cicah..kena pedas2 masam then slurrrppppp..baru kaw..hahaha

    ha'ah mkn pki chandas..the ambuyat kasi twist then cicah kat kuah kuning then slurrppp..hihihi..

    tq Real..pak dir dah boleh ingat balik and gerak mcm biasa alhamdulillah..but my dad, perut dia kena tebuk blk sbb x boleh nak buang air kecil :-(
