Kena rotan kerana kemiskinan ...


Assalamualaikum wbt ...

hari ini rabu ... hari ketiga sejak sekolah dibuka selepas cuti panjang ... but i know one girl is not going to school.

she is in Form 4 ... 
i was talking to her the other day asking about this and that ...
 and she told me that she missed school on wednesdays ... i asked why ... 
tak ada baju ko-kurrikulum katanya ... 
i suggested that she just go for the academic session and miss the co-curriculum then ... 
she jawab kena pakai baju ko-kurrikulum dari pagi masa datang sekolah kalau tidak kena rotan ... 
ha? tingkatan 4 kena rotan? rotan kat mana i asked ... kat tapak tangan jawabnya ... 
sakit tak saya tanya lagi ... sakittt jawabnya ... 

macam mana tu ye ... 
sebab ko-kurrikulum she misses the entire day's academic session ... 
she's the daughter of a policeman ... step-daughter in fact because mother and father have different households now ... there are seven of them within her current family ... she is the third ... so i would think many more younger ones ...

... since i am not familiar with this kind of situation ... 
i asked someone who has a son in the same year and school ... 
yes they have to wear the baju the entire day ... 
but her son is in the afternoon session ... 
she thought the school is more  strict on the morning session ... 
i asked how much is this co-curriculum thing ... 
depends on which club ... 
over 100 rm for my son she said ...

... hmmm over a 100 ... kalau anak tujuh, abah polis biasa, emak tak kerja ... 
macam mana tu ye ...

... ini girl ...
 kalau boy bila dia ponteng ... apa dia buat ... ke mana dia pergi ... 
dengan siapa dia lepak ... 
apa pula ko-kurrikulum mereka di luar sekolah sana ...
one thing leads to another kan ...

 teringat saya kena rotan kerana sebatang pensel ...
saya tak fikir yang perkara ini masih berlaku ... murid kena rotan kerana kemiskinan ...
 saya rasa macam nak masuk gua ...

    salam sis Real,
    baru jer cakap dengan mr.hubs pagi tadi, kita sekarang ni lagi teruk dari zaman dulu..bunuh-bunuh dah jadi mainan...and now kes murid dirotan because of baju ko-ku..
    kerana takut kena rotan, the girl missed her one day lessons.. which is more important.. apa salahnya kalau bagi kelonggaran sikit..allow to wear t-shirt putih if takde baju ko-ku..ini nak dirotan..
    makin lama macam makin tak bertamadun.. at least dulu-dulu.. kaki ayam gi sekolah pun tak apa..asalkan anak murid datang sekolah and belajar.. very sad

      Wa'alaikumussalam wbt dear sister ... i am not sure exactly kenapa sampai jadi macam tu ... but i agree 100% and more with you about ... kaki ayam tu ... and asalkan anak datang sekolah dan belajar ...

      boleh ke agaknya sistem pendidikan kita ni adjust sikit and be flexible in delivering what needs to be delivered ... i will try to do my bit insyaAllah.
