Assalamualaikum wbt ...
a nano piece in the life of a wise and graceful woman of Islam ...
Umm Salamah ...
When Abu Salamah passed away and Umm Salamah had completed her iddah,
Abu Bakr proposed marriage to her, but she refused. Then ‘Umar inb
Hattab proposed to her, but she also refused. Then the Prophet proposed
to her and she told him she had three reservations. She was hot headed
and may sometimes be rude to the Prophet, she was elderly and she had
many children. The Prophet said he would pray to Allaah regarding her
temper, he was also an elderly man, and as far as her children were
concerned, they were precisely the reason why he had proposed to her.
The Prophet married her in Shawwaal in the 4th year of the hijrah.
Um Salamah was a very wise woman. After the Treaty was signed at
Hudaybiyyah, the companions were not very happy and would not sacrifice
their animals neither shave their heads to release themselves from ihram
as the Prophet had ordered. Umm Salamah advised him not to speak about
it any further but simply to go ahead with the procedure himself. When
he did this, all the companions followed him.

the wise woman ...
... is patient, does not make decision immediately following stress of loss or any unpleasant event, she is not desperate for a human's help ...
... speaks the truth about her weaknesses and situation to enable others to decide what needs be done next ...
... does what rightly has to be done despite disagreement of majority, she understands that in times of majority disagreement, modelling, doing, is a better option than talking ... as when Umm Salamah advised the Prophet SAW about releasing ihram ...

the fact that she claimed herself to be hot headed and may sometimes be rude to the Prophet SAW ... isn't this not true for most of our modern ladies ... if only modern men's answer to this is as wise as the way of the Prophet SAW as narrated above ... alangkah murninya kehidupan ... masyaAllah ... Allah SWT gives us all hidayah ... ameen ...

Perihal isteri Firaun, ketika dia berkata: Wahai Tuhanku! Binalah untukku sebuah rumah di sisiMu dalam Syurga dan selamatkanlah daku dari Firaun dan perbuatannya (yang kufur dan buas), serta selamatkanlah daku dari kaum yang zalim. (At-Tahrim, Ayat 11)

And
Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of
Pharaoh:
Behold she said:
"O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong";
