Assalamualaikum wbt ...

Sister Junaidah is the reason for my diligently following the writings of Prof Hasanah ... she had breast cancer ...

Today i called her ... and her daughter answered. I said nak cakap dengan ibu. a slight hesitation and she passed me on to another male voice ... 

siapa tu i asked. acik nak cakap dengan ibu i explained again.

and slowly he said ... acik minta maaf ... ibu dah tak ada ...

ibu dah meninggal seminggu lalu ... second day of puasa ...

Inna Lillahi wainna ilaihi rajiun ...

sesal dan sedih yang amat ... menusuk hati ... not knowing and not informed ... but anak explained ... it happened so fast within the week ibu was in serious condition ... father was also just recovering from his treatment ... and we do not know who are mom's friends ...

and i said it is Allah's will that I did not have the chance to meet her ...

Allahumma ... kurniakanlah  Jannah Mu for my Sister Junaidah ... ameen ...

now the father is in the hospital ... his battle is with another cancer ... of the intestine ...

Allahumma berilah kesihatan, kekuatan dan kesabaran kepada mereka sekeluarga ...

hilang menjelang Syawal ... 

Breast Cancer ...

alhamduLillah ... another long day completed today ... scrub kaki ... foot bath lagi ...

done ...

and on breast cancer ...

sejak saya menemui tulisan tulisan Prof Hasanah  ... i have a better awareness of this condition and the people affected by it ... it is impossible to claim that one understands ... but the expressed words have enabled me to at least follow the logic (for lack of a better word ... because there is no logic to it ...) of this dis - ease ... that condition of not being at ease ...

a friend who has been afflicted by this, has gone through so many sessions of therapy and surgery and therapy ... yet i could not fathom the inner sense of this affliction and how she deals with it ... because she doesn't express her pain and how she manages her pain in words ...

 but at least now i can lead her and others to Prof Hasanah's world ... so that they may take comfort from her words ...AlhamduLillah ... when my own is so very limited ... 

AstaghfiruLLAH ...

besides the friend, i met a lady yesterday who recently had a lump removed ... and today another lady who also recently had one breast removed ...  lama berbicara about it with the both them ... resulting in me being so aware of the condition ... the reason for this posting ...

and to them all i said please read the writings of Prof Hasanah ... masyaAllah... siap bagi blog address ... dah sampai hafal AlhamduLillah ...

itu saja yang boleh saya bantu ... because hanya yang mengalami, yang memahami ... and has the knowledge of what works, what does not work ... 

 may Allah SWT give sehat to all ... ameen
