mula-mula mengenal bunga ini saya belum bersekolah 5-6 tahun macam tu ... belakang rumah berhampiran dapur ada sebatang pokoknye ...tinggi dan besar batangnye ... masa tu saya rasa lebih sepemeluk lah  batangnye ... imagine me besar tu ... kazen-kazen sume dah besar ... suke ambil bungenye yang  penuh di dahan ...  pakai PENGOLAN buluh.

harumnye saye tak ingat ...keharumannye ini saye appreciate later in life ...

anyhow didepan rumah sekarang ada 4 pokok ... 2 dwarf macam gambar di bawah ... 2 tinggi ... tak taulah yang tinggi ni sooner or later kena cantas juge or tebang ... sedihhh kalau this has to happen.

musim banyak bunge ... malam buke tingkap ...

at one other house yang kami used to rent for some purpose we had more than 10 dwarf plants ... behind the kitchen ... sekarang dah besar dah full of blooms ... kami intai-intai je dari jauh ... he he (silalah nyanyi lagu selamat tinggal bungaku ... :)

selalu oghang tanye macam mane nyebut nama bunge ni ... ylang ylang ... y nye tu bunyi antara a dan i macam ei ...

kalau oghang melayu kite suke kate ini bunge kubur ... ade hantu ... 

but  the rational is ... bunge ni harum dan sangat menenangkan ...sanak saudara ziarah kubur, yang sedih pasti get affected juge by the calming effect of the bunge ...

... nak tidur letak 2-3 kuntum kat tepi bantal ...

oghang lelaki nak pergi solat surau/masjid masuk sekuntum dalam poket baju ... masyaALLAH masyaALLAH so soothing and calming

bunge ini sangat harum tetapi sangat pemalu ... tengok tunduknye kuntum-kuntumnye ... :)

p/s: MARDI has a large acre of kenanga plants of different species atas bukit kat belakang MARDI tu ... but habis dah when they bina that exhibition centre for MAHA ... that area has a very good collection ...
